This was a fun little game, for your first project its great! I enjoyed the story telling and the sound effects were good. I kind of broke the game at the end, If you use the microwave after the power outage you get stuck with a bowl of food through all the tension parts so it made my gameplay hilarious. For your first game, it was phenomenal. Excellent job! Although I would have liked it much more if you had added ambient music or had more sound presence in the house. Also, I felt that the flashlight didn't illuminate enough, I had a hard time seeing around the environment.
These things you can obviously improve in the future. Keep it up!

Not bad at all for a first game! Definitely a very standard sort of game here on Itch, but everything functioned properly it did what it wanted to do. My main complaint would be with the table scene. That scene seemed to drag on for quite a while and made me question if I was supposed to do something or if the next sequence failed to load. Something (visual or audio) beyond just footsteps would have made it a lot more engaging. Great effort overall!
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the table scene turned out a bit wrong. You are actually supposed to see him walking around, but I made the ambient lighting a bit too dark I suppose.

Thanks for pointing that out! I thought I fixed that, but I guess that didn't do the trick. It should be fine in version 1.2 though!
